Specifications

The resin and activated carbon of natural origin found in the filter cartridge efficiently reduce the hardness of tap water and lower the content of chlorine and other
undesirable substances. The water becomes clear and fully suitable for direct consumption and the preparation of drinks and food.

Setting the filtration level should be preceded by determining the hardness of the tap water using a test strip. Information on water hardness is also provided by the local
water supply company.

Regulating the level of carbonate hardness reduction involves adjusting the position (turning) of the filter cartridge in relation to the filter head according to the markings
provided. The filter's adjustable settings, its effectiveness and service life are dependent on the local properties of water as well as the condition of the water distribution
system.

Changing the filter cartridge and adjusting the level of carbonate hardness reduction are intuitive and require no additional tools.

The system elements are adapted for installation inside the sink cabinet.

The filter system uses materials approved for contact with food. The system has been issued with the relevant hygienic certificates.

The Flow Comfort system comprises the electronic Flow Meter, which reminds the user to change the filter cartridge.
Safe use – important information

A stop valve should be installed upstream of the filter. There is a built-in stop valve in the tee included in the kit. A pressure reducing valve must be installed if the water
pressure is higher than the nominal pressure.

Certain people, for example, those with kidney disease or a weak immune system, should consult the use of the filter with a specialist and/or doctor.

It is recommended that the filter system is not left unused for long periods. If the system is unused for 2–3 days, it is recommended to flush it through with 2 litres of water.
If the system is unused for more than a month, it should be flushed through with 20 litres of water.

Filtered water remains drinkable for 1–2 days (depending on storage conditions).

Due to the possibility of secondary contamination in the water system, the system is classified as category 2 according to EN 1717.

The filter cartridge and the filter head must be protected from excessive heat and sunlight.

The factory-packed D1 filter cartridge is suitable for use for 5 years from its manufacture date.

The filter cartridge is suitable for systems with a G3/8" thread.
