Raising vehicles
1.
Ensure that the drain valve (7) is closed. To do so, you can turn it clockwise (to the
right).
2.
Ensure that the vehicle is secured to prevent it from rolling away. To this end, put
the vehicle in gear (in park mode in the case of automatic transmission) and apply
the handbrake.
3.
Next, put the pump lever (1) together and insert it into the lever holder (2).
4.
Then lift the mounting plate (4) and place it under the jack's mounting point. This
information can be found in the vehicle manual.
5.
The vehicle can now be raised by pumping the pump lever (1).
6.
As soon as the desired height is reached, the vehicle must be secured immediately
using axle stands.
Lowering vehicles
1.
Once the work on the vehicle is complete, ensure that there are no persons and/or
objects under the vehicle.
2.
Then remove the axle stands.
3.
Remove the pump lever (1) from the lever holder (2) and place it on the drain valve
(7).
4.
Slowly turn the drain valve (7) anticlockwise (to the left). Once the vehicle is fully
on the ground, the drain valve can be opened completely.
Caution! Only open the drain valve (7) using the pump lever (1) and do not use any
other tools such as pliers!
