PREPARATION BEFORE INSTALLATION
Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package
contents list and diagram above. If any parts is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the
product. Contact customer service for replacement parts.
Estimated Assembly Time: 15 Minutes
Tools Needed For Assembly: Phillips screwdriver
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Before installing electric insert into mantel, plug the insert into an outlet to be certain that the
light bulbs and flame effect are in working condition. This will avoid the need to remove the insert
once it has been installed. Take care when moving assembled mantel and insert it will take two adults
to move.
1. Locate the final location of your fireplace. Making sure that you have clear access to an
electrical outlet.
2. Position the fireplace mantel close to it's final location, leaving enough room to access the back of
the mantel.
3. Gently slide the insert into the opening in the mantel until the trim on the insert is flush against the
inside of the mantel.
4. Locate (9) screws (AA). Using a Phillips screwdriver, insert screws through pre-drilled holes in
insert trim and into mantel. Tighten screws.
5. Slide the completed fireplace mantel against the wall.
CARE AN MAINTENANCE
Turn heater OFF and unplug from electrical outlet before any cleaning or maintenance is performed.
Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothing, and curtains at least
3 feet away from fireplace.
Use a vacuum or duster to keep heat and vent area clean from dust and dirt. The exterior of the
fireplace should be cleaned with a damp cloth or duster. Do not use abrasive cleaners or liquid sprays.
