WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS
CAUTION
• Read all instructions and warnings carefully before starting installation.
• The final location of your fireplace should have clear access to a grounded electrical outlet.
• Take care when moving assembled mantel. It will take two adults to move into final position.
• Some steps are more easily handled with two adults.
• All panels are labeled Left and Right as viewed from the front of mantel.
• Use the hardware that is provided and read each step before beginning assembly.
• Do not overtighten hardware. Do not attempt to install electric insert until the mantel is fully assembled.
• The insert must be installed from the back of the mantel, do not attempt to insert mantle from the
front, it will not fit and will cause damage to the mantel.
• Use caution when opening carton and unwrapping pieces so as not to damage the contents.
• Do not use a knife.
PREPARATION
Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with
contents list and diagram above. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the
product. Contact customer service for replacement parts.
