NOTE: This setting may only be made with the base.
NOTE: Time of day is automatically transmitted by your local phone company
as part of Caller ID service. If you subscribe to Caller ID service, the current
time is set automatically when you receive your first CID record. Otherwise,
you may set the time manually.
NOTE: If you want to keep the current time, press the flash/program button
when the display shows - - : - - AM PM.
1. Press the flash/program button until SET TIME 12:00 >AM PM shows on
the display. The default setting is 12:00 AM.
2. Use the touch-tone pad to enter the current time. In the display, the
arrow automatically moves to the AM field. Use the cid/messages (< or
>) button to move the arrow to PM , if necessary.
3. Press flash/program again to store your selection. You will hear a
confirmation tone.

If you enter a 3-digit area code here, your local area code does not appear
in Caller ID messages you review. Instead, you will see only the local
seven digit number. Calls you receive from outside your local area code
display as the full ten-digit number.
