Tighten the diagonal section of the safety belt by pulling in an
upward direction, until it adheres correctly and the child car seat is
safely fixed onto the car seat.
ADJUSTING THE SAFETY HARNESS ( Fig.15)
A correctly adjusted harness ensures optimal protection for your
child in the safety seat.
The child car seat is provided with a safety harness with a buckle that
is easy to use.
Sit the child into the child car seat. Fit the straps above the shoulders
(1) and the pelvis (2).
The buckle must be positioned between the child's legs (3).
Locking the safety harness ( Fig.16).
Join the right connector with the left connector, then insert them
into the buckle, until they click into position.
The "click" indicates that they are correctly locked into position.
To unlock the safety belt, press the button located on the buckle in a
downward direction.
Tightening the safety harness ( Fig.17).
Pull the harness adjustment strap, at the front of the car seat, until
the harness is a comfortable, snug fit on the child's body.
The safety harness must be tensioned in such a way that it restrains
the child correctly, without constricting or creating discomfort.
Warning: The crotch buckle has a fixed length and cannot be
adjusted. Do not pull on the chest pads.
Loosening the safety harness ( Fig.18).
Press the harness release button, at the front of the car seat. (1).
Whilst keeping the button pressed, pull the straps above the
shoulders in a forward direction (2).
Ensure that no parts of the safety harness are twisted.
HOW TO ADJUST THE HEIGHT OF THE SHOULDER STRAPS ( Fig.19 )
Always check the height of the shoulder straps and make sure they
are at the same level of the shoulders orslightly above.
