NOTICE! Damage hazard
Before drilling any holes, ensure that no electrical cables or other parts of the vehicle can be damaged by
drilling, sawing or filing.
1.
Apply adhesive to the side roof mounting supports of the solar panel (1, Fig. ).
2. Place the solar panel on the prepared bonding surface on the vehicle (2, Fig. ).

• Do not press too hard on the surface of the solar panel.
• Do not press on the center of the solar panel.
Press the side roof mounting supports lightly against the adhesive surface.
4. Drill a hole into the vehicle surface for the connection cable.

5. Route the connection cable from the junction box through the cable gland (1, Fig. ).
6. Route the connection cable from the cable gland through the roof duct (2, Fig. ).
7.
Route the connection cable through the pre-drilled hole into the vehicle interior (3, Fig. ).
8. Fasten the cable gland onto the roof duct (4, Fig. ).

9.
Apply adhesive to the back of the roof duct.

10. Place the roof duct on the prepared bonding surface on the vehicle.
Note Mount the roof duct in the direction of travel of the vehicle to avoid wind and rain loading on
the cable gland.

11. Fix the roof duct, e.g. with adhesive tape, until the adhesive has dried completely (after approx. 12 h) to ensure
that the roof duct rests firmly on the surface of the vehicle.
Note Wait at least 48 h before moving the vehicle.

Connecting the solar charge controller (accessories)
Observe the following instructions when connecting the solar charge controller:
• Connect the house battery before connecting the solar panel.
• Connect several solar panels only in parallel and up to the rated power of the solar charge controller.
• In the case of two or more batteries, parallel connection is permissible if the batteries are of the same type, ca-
pacity and age. Connect the batteries diagonally.
• Also observe the instructions and safety precautions for the solar charge controller used.
