Introduction
Congratulations on your purchase of the 60th Anniversary Traynor YSC-Mobile. This special run, compact mini
column PA enclosure has been created to help celebrate Yorkville Sound and Traynor's 60th Anniversary.
The YSC-Mobile commemorates Yorkville Sound's very first product, a column PA enclosure. This
unique column PA enclosure predates the venerable YBA-1 bass amplifier. It's initial success, after being
showcased in 1963 Toronto, Canada had direct influence of the birth of Yorkville Sound. The success of the
column PA led to the company designing many different professional products for the gigging musician. A
Canadian legend was born.
Before the spring of 1963, portable PA was an unknown concept in most of North America. As a vocalist,
there was a mic and cable and a hope that there would be something to plug it into at the gig (there often
wasn't). The YSC-1 PA column was created to assist when a band actually requested a portable PA system. By
creating the YSC-1, Pete Traynor made a major step in the evolution of live music technology which resulted in
the birth of Yorkville Sound some months later.
Some features of the Traynor YSC-Mobile include:

• Battery life of 5.5 hours when playing at full volume; well in excess of 24 hours of life for light-duty applications
• 3 Mic inputs (XLR, all channels), Balanced line input (1/4-inch Ch1), Instrument input (Unbal 1/4-inch
Ch2), Aux Input (1/8-inch Ch3)
• Bluetooth™ connection for streaming audio to the system (via Channel 3)
• Scalable, the design allows the system to grow to meet different needs
• Easily paired with a compact Subwoofer to extend the bass
• Link input/output for connecting two or more YSC-Mobile systems together
