1. GENERAL INFORMATIONS
1.1. SIMBOLOGY IN USE

safety.

1.2. WARNINGS
This manual is a ME.BER. property. Total or partial reproductions and transmission through any mechanical, electronic
or other mean are not allowed without a written authorization from the builder.
It is provided in just one original copy if not differently specified when executing the order. It is buyer 's responsibility to make it
avaiable to any interested person.
This manual is given together with the stretcher, of which it is an integrant part, and it must follow it even in case of assignment.
It should be set in a safe place and preserved until demolition of the stretcher itself. In case of loss a duplicate should be required
to ME.BER. which will provide debiting you with the expenses.
ME.BER. declines any responsability for eventual damages caused to people and/or things due to inobservance of instructions
contained in this manual.
ME.BER. reserves for itself the privilege to bring in any moment and without notice any technical or commercial modification
which could be cosidered useful. So data and information here reported might be modified and/or brought up to date.
1.3. MANUAL ORGANIZATION AND CONSULTATION
This manual is organized in such a way to permit the operator to find the needed piece of information in an easy and fast way. The
subjects dealt are all those considered necessary and sufficient for a safe use of the stretcher, mostly that obligatory and
recommended by european directives, expecially for those aspects relatives to safety.
So every operator authorized to its use is recommended to read attentively the manual in any of its parts and to apply scrupulously
what is reported, asking the builder for explanations in case of doubt.
This manual must be utilized also as reference documentation every time it will be necessary to remind a practice or an operation.
The builder would like to thank in advance for all those remarks which could be done by the buyer to improve the explanation and
comprehension.
For editorial reasons, images and pictures could be a little different from real aspect, without however giving the possibility of doubt.
In this manual are utilized terms such as "stretcher", "scoop stretcher" and "product" to identify the object of the manual; they should
be considered as equivalent.
Proper symbols and thick and/or bent type draw reader 's attention to important information, especially about safety.
The revision index is placed, in every page, in low and central position. The list of those pages which have been revisioned can be
found at the end of the manual.
1.4. WARRANTY
Warranty terms are stated in the following points, if not differently specified when executing the order.
1.4.1. THE OBJECT OF WARRANTY
The stretcher has been projected and built for a lasting utilization without particular problems; however in case of anomalies during
the specified period covered by warranty, ME.BER. binds itself to repair or renew freely those parts which have presented break or
premature wear caused by flaws in materials, fault during working, or faulting assembling. Warranty is not recognized for those parts
whose break or wear have been caused by
non-respect of instructions contained in this use and maintenance manual;
improper or undone maintenance;
use of improper devices for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance;
violations and modifications executed without ME.BER. authorization.;
utilization of non-original spare parts.
