3.3 Keyboard installation
Recommended requirement is the successful installation of the USB receiver under point 3.2
If you haven't done yet, remove the covering of the battery case on
the bottom of your keyboard. Install the included batteries of type
AAA 1.5 V considering the right polarity in the battery case (see
picture).
Switch ON the on/off sliding switch on keyboard's back side!
The USB receiver and the keyboard are factory-made already synchronised on the same channel. Nor-
mally you have not to make a new-synchronisation (as described under point 3.4).
Now you can check this by pressing any key of your keyboard.
If you press the Windows key, for instance, the Windows Pop-up
menu down left on your screen has to open. If so, your wireless key-
board is working correctly now. If not, please synchronise the USB
receiver and the keyboard again like described under point 3.4.
Advise: Should the functionality be infl uenced by other users applying their wireless keyboard close-by,
make a new-synchronisation as described under point 3.4.
3.4 New-synchronisation of the radio channel
KSK-5210 RF is equipped with the newest radio technology allowing in the easiest manner to make a new-
synchronisation.
The process of synchronisation can take up to 10 seconds
and is signalised by the fl ashing of the PAIRING-LED (middle
LED on front side of the keyboard), which turns off after suc-
cessful synchronisation. The keyboard is now ready for use
and functional.
Check now the functionality of the keyboard as described under point 3.3.
Advise:
One further benefi t of this newest radio technology is the availability of a large number of possible, inde-
pendent from each other „radio channels" (16 channels *2
tions or even IDs) to ensure a trouble-free and secured operation of several wireless keyboards in one
room respectively in a transmitting/receiving sector of approx. 7 m.

In contrast to conventional or older wireless keyboards on
the market this keyboard only requires you to press the PAI-
RING key on the back side only 1 time, whereby the new
synchronisation signal is transmitted to the USB receiver.
Thereby a complete, extremely comfortable handling from
the user's location (e.g. a sofa) is possible without the need
to stand up for pressing the synchronisation key of the re-
ceiver, which is usually located in the USB port of the PC.
