Commissioning

If your handset is not yet mounted
If the handset is not completely assembled when you receive it, you must
D Insert the MEM-Card (→ Page 3)
D Install the battery (→ Page 4) and
D Remove the protective film from the display, if necessary.

D Your service team must register the handset with your telephone system.
Your handset is then ready for operation.
D Now connect the charger (→ Page 5).
If your handset is alredy fully mounted
If the handset is already completely assembled and registered with your
telephone system when you recieve it, you need only connect the charger
(→ Page 5).
MEM-Card
You can only use your handset to make and receive telephone calls if a
MEM-Card is inserted. It performs the memory function for your important
handset data, such as personal settings and telephone books. If you switch
handsets you can use the MEM-Card to make and receive telephone calls
immediately.
