Maintenance and cleaning
5.1 Cleaning
1. Turn off and unplug the appliance
before each cleaning process.
2. Wait until your iron cools down
completely.
3. Use a slightly damp cloth to clean
the outer surface of the iron. Then
wait until it dries out completely.
4. Wipe the sediments and residues
on the base plate with a slightly
damp cloth and soft, nonabrasive
liquid cleaner as necessary.
WARNING: When
you finished ironing,
unplug the appliance.

by opening the refill lid
(5), removing the filter
under the lid by turning
it counterclockwise,
and tilting the iron to
the front. Do not forget
to replace the filter
after the water draining
process is over.
WARNING: Never

agents or hard brush to
clean this appliance.

5.2 Self-Clean Function
(Lime Removal)
It minimizes the lime particles ac-
cumulated in the steam reservoir of
your iron.
Use the self-clean feature once in ev-
ery 2 to 3 weeks. If the water of your
network is very hard (if lime particles
fall down from the base of the appli-
ance), we recommend you to use the
self-clean function more frequently.
• Always unplug your iron.
• Fill in the water reservoir up to Max.
level.
• Do not add vinegar etc. and other
lime removing substances into the
water reservoir.
• Pull the steam adjustment knob (6)
backwards to the ironing without
steam position.
• Plug in the appliance to a grounded
outlet and bring the iron base tem-
perature to maximum.
• Unplug the iron when the thermo-
stat warning light (9) turns off.
• Hold the iron over the washbasin,
press and hold the self-clean button
(10) on the iron, and wag the iron to
left and right.
