Charge the appliance fully before you use it for the first time and after a
long period of disuse.
Charging takes about 70 minutes if the appliance is completely empty.

Switch off the appliance.

Insert the appliance plug into the appliance and put the adapter in
the wall socket.
, The charging light goes on to indicate that the appliance is
charging. (Fig. 2)

The green charging light lights up continuously during charging.

The green charging light starts flashing when the battery is fully
charged.

If the red battery-low light flashes when you switch off the appliance
after cordless use, the battery is low and needs to be charged.

If the red battery-low light flashes and the motor does not start
running when you press the on/off button, the battery is empty and
needs to be charged.

Always comb your beard or moustache with a fine comb before you
start trimming.

Do not run the appliance from the mains when the battery is fully
charged.
Note: If the battery is low, you can also use the appliance from the mains:

Switch off the trimmer, connect it to the mains and wait a few
seconds before you switch it on.
