BEFORE FIRST USE
1.
Remove all packaging material.
2.
Clean the heating surfaces with a soft damp cloth then dry them.
3.
Uncoil the mains cable completely.
4.
When first use, the device may give off a slight odor. This is normal and will not last for long.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Put the appliance on a level and heat-resistant surface. Place the drip tray into its place under the plates.
2.
Plug the device to an appropriate socket. The red light illuminates to indicate power is connected.
3.
Switch the thermostat control knob to "Max" for preheating, and the green lights turn on. After about 3-5
minutes, the appliance has heated up and the green lights will turn off. Now you can begin waffle making.
4.
Open the appliance by the handle. Note that the appliance can only be opened when the thermostat
control knob faces upwards.
5.
Add some butter onto the grill plates if you like.
6.
Pour the prepared batter onto the lower heating surface and distribute it evenly.
7.
Hold the upper heating surface at the handle and fully close the waffle machine.
8.
Hold both handles and rotate in the direction as indicated by the arrow on the handle. Don't use force
when rotating as this can damage the handle.
9.
You can switch the thermostat control knob to select a desired heating level. The green lights turn on
when the appliance is heating and turn off when the selected heating level is reached.
10. Bake the waffle for approximate 4-6 minutes depending upon the heating level you chose and the degree
of browning required.
11. Rotate the plates back to the position with the thermostat control knob facing upwards, and check the
status of the waffle. If darker waffle required, close up the plates and continue baking until the desired
color is achieved.
12. Remove the waffle with a plastic spatula when the waffle is ready. Do not use any metal objects (e.g.
knife, fork etc.) as they will scratch the coating of the heating surface.
13. If you wish to bake more waffles, pour in more batter immediately.
14. When you have finished baking, remove the mains plug from the outlet.
Note!
The appliance can only be opened by handle when the thermostat control knob faces upwards.
The two green lights turn on and off synchronously when indicating the status.
You can put the cooled waffle back into the appliance and select the "KEEP WARM" setting to warm the
waffle for eating.
Do not open the appliance less than one and a half minutes after you put into the batter. Opening the lid
too soon will cause the under-baked waffle to split.
