c) Using the microphone
1. Turn on your computer/audio device with the connected sound generators
(loudspeakers). If necessary, launch your audio software.
2. Turn the sensitivity of your audio software/device to zero using the corresponding
input level control (refer to the operating instructions of the device you are using).
3. Insert a pair of headphones with a 3.5 mm jack into the headphone socket (6) on
the microphone.
4. Test the microphone by speaking a few words whilst slowly moving the input level
control on the audio device upwards until the desired output volume is reached.
Maintenance and cleaning
• The product does not require maintenance except for occasional cleaning.
• Under no circumstances should you service any of the components in the interior of
the device, therefore never open it.
• Before cleaning, remove the USB cable from the connected computer/audio device.
• Use a soft, antistatic and lint-free cloth to clean the device. Dust can be easily
removed using a soft and clean long-haired brush.
• Never use aggressive and abrasive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical
solutions, as these could damage the casing or even impair the functioning of the
product.
