About this document

These instructions are a supplement to the EBS-PT operating instructions
(R412008280) in which all the basic mechanical and pneumatic assembly and
operation steps are explained.
These instructions also contain important information on the safe and appropriate
assembly and operation of the EBS-ET-...-VE ejector and how to remedy simple
malfunctions yourself.

Assembly
O Make sure that all relevant system parts are not under voltage or pressure before
you assemble the ejector.
Operation
O Operation in an explosive atmosphere is not permissible!
There is a danger of fires and explosions!
Additionally when using the pressure sensor or electromagnetic valve
O Observe the general safety regulations, EN standards, and VDE directives.
O Only use protective extra-low voltage (PELV) and ensure safe electrical isolation
of the operating voltage in accordance with EN 60204.
O Lay the electrical connection cables without any kinks.
O The pressure sensor may not be opened – not even to repair it!
There is a danger of damage to the sensor, as well as a danger of injury!
O Do not use the pressure sensor in an environment that is not splashwater-proof.
