PWM speed regulator for DC motors, supply from 6 to 16 Vdc and a maximum consumption of 6 Amp. Pulse width
(PWM) adjustment for speed control is done using the
circuit potentiometer. Includes minimum adjustment potentiometer and connection terminals.
ALIMENTATION. The circuit is powered by the same voltage as the motor. Connect power to the POWER terminal
respecting ± polarity. Install a switch for circuit protection and your own safety, according to CE standard.
Before activating the switch, make all other circuit connections.
FUNCTIONING. Once you have made and checked the input and output connections, you can activate the switch.
Using potentiometer P 1 you can adjust the speed of the motor. It is important that you always start the engine at
maximum speed, then you can adjust it as you wish.
MINIMUM SPEED ADJUSTMENT. To adjust the minimum speed of the motor, set potentiometer P 1 and
potentiometer RV1 to minimum. With potentiometer P1 at minimum, adjust RV1 to the desired starting point for the
motor.
FACILITY. Install in a box with good ventilation, during operation the circuit dissipates heat, poor ventilation reduces
performance, or may cause failure.
IMPORTANT : If a minimum level is established with RV1, it must be taken into account that the system will
continue to consume energy even when P1 is at minimum, producing extra consumption and even engine heating.
