Ground the enclosure
Warning! This product must be grounded. Do not use this product without an earth
ground connection.
1. Use a 12-24 screw to attach a grounding wire to an open screw hole on the
enclosure.
2. Route the wire under the frame of the enclosure and connect the wire to your
facility's earth ground connection.
Lock or unlock the door and access panel
For additional security, the door and access panel of the enclosure can be locked with
the provided keys.
To lock or unlock the door or access panel, insert one of the respective keys into the
lock and turn the key clockwise or counterclockwise.
Adjust the depth of the vertical mounting rails
The vertical mounting rails come pre-installed in the enclosure at the maximum
height. However, you can adjust the mounting rails to reduce the mounting height and
accommodate larger equipment that may be installed in the vertical mounting rails
that are above. The mounting rails can be adjusted independently in 3/4 inch (20 mm)
increments.
Warning! Do not attempt to adjust the mounting rails when equipment is installed in
the enclosure. Remove the equipment first before you adjust the mounting rails.
1. Each of the mounting rails is connected to the height adjusting rails with two
screws and toward the front and the back of the mounting rail. Use a Phillips type
screwdriver to remove the screws, disconnecting the mounting rails.
2. Slide the vertical mounting rail to your desired height then use a Phillips type
screwdriver to install and tighten the screws that you removed in step 1.
Note: Each mounting rail must be installed at an identical height to support 2-post
mounting hardware.
