COOKING GUIDE FOR WHITE RICE

Note: Always add the rice first otherwise you will have too much water.
COOKING PROGRAM
Rice
• Press downwards on the control switch, the cooking indicator light
changes to red showing that the cooking has begun. – Fig. 5
• At the end of cooking, it will turn to keep warm automatically, the
cooking indicator light changes to green. – Fig. 6
• Please maintain "Keep Warm" status for several minutes before serving
for good taste of rice.
Warm
• When you plug in the appliance, the indicator light will light up in green
and the appliance will start to keep warm automatically
• At the end of cooking, the appliance will turn to keep warm automatically,
the cooking indicator light changes to green
• The maximum keep warm time is 5 hours;
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Please ensure the rice cooker is unplugged and completely cooled down
before cleaning and maintenance. – Fig. 7
• It is strongly advised to clean the appliance after each use with a
sponge. – Fig. 8, 9
• The accessories (Spoon / Spatula / Steam Basket / Measuring Cup) are
dishwasher safe. The cooking pot can be washed in the dishwasher,
however to ensure its durability, we recommend you to use hand washing
with soapy water and soft sponge. (Some dishwasher detergents are
very corrosive and the edge of your pot could slightly change its aspect

Taking care of the pot
For the pot, carefully follow the instructions below:
• To ensure the maintenance of pot quality, it is recommended not to cut
food in it.
• Use the plastic spoon provided or a wooden spoon (avoid metal spoon),
so as to avoid damaging the pot surface.
• To avoid any risk of corrosion, do not pour vinegar into the pot.
• Scouring powders and abrasive sponges are not recommended.
• If food has stuck to the bottom, you may put water in the pot to soak
for a while before washing.
• Dry the pot carefully.
Cleaning the steam valve
• To clean the steam valve, please remove it from the lid. –  Fig.  10
After cleaning, please wipe dry and put it back to the lid.
Cleaning and care of the other parts of the appliance
• Clean the outside of the Rice Cooker, the inside of the lid and the cord
with a damp cloth and wipe dry. Do not use abrasive products.
• Do not use water to clean the interior of the appliance body as it could
damage the heat sensor.
NOTE
• Do not open the lid during cooking as steam will escape and this will
affect the cooking time and the taste.
• On completion of cooking, when the light changes to green, stir the rice
and then leave it in the rice cooker for a few minutes longer in order to
get perfect rice with separate grains.
• Do not touch the heating element when the product is powered on.
• Carefully wipe the outside of the pot (especially the bottom). Make
sure that there are no foreign residues or liquid underneath the pot
and on the heating element
• Never place your hand on the steam vent during cooking, as there is
a danger of burns
