Using the Hand Winch for pulling a Load
1. Push the toggle lever (5) into the middle position.
2. Unwind the cable up to the desired length. Make sure
there are at least three windings of steel cable remain
on the drum!
3. Fasten the hook on the load to be pulled.
4. Push the toggle lever to the top position (see picture
on the right). Turn the hand crank clockwise in order to
pull the load.
5. Make sure the cable will be wound properly on the
drum, winding next to winding. Make sure the steel
cable cannot get entangled.
6. As soon as the load is pulled up to the desired
position, secure the load against rolling away or slip-
ping.
7. Only after securing the load, loosen the cable a little bit in order to be able to
remove the hook.
Using the Hand Winch for retracting a Load
1. Push the toggle lever (5) into the middle position.
2. Unwind the cable up to the desired length. Make sure
there are at least three windings on the drum!
3. Fasten the hook on the load to be pulled. Use suitable
lashing tackles.
4. Push the toggle lever to the bottom position (see
picture on the right).
5. Turn the hand crank counter clockwise in order to
retract the load.
6. As soon as the load is retracted up to the desired
position, secure the load against rolling away or slip-
ping.
7. Only after securing the load, loosen the cable a little bit in order to be able to
remove the hook.
