Making waffles
1.
Place the device on a heat resistant flat and stable surface.
2.
Prepare a waffle batter. You can use your own recipe or the recipe you will find in this
instruction manual.
3.
Insert the plug into the socket . The red indicator light will light up to indicate that the device
is switched on.
4.
Set the desired temperature with the temperature control knob.
5.
The green indicator light will light up as soon as the device has reached the set temperature,
to indicate that the device is ready for use.
6.
Open the lid and pour some of the waffle batter onto the middle of the bottom baking plate.
Take care: in case you use too much batter, some batter may flow out of the device. Leave
the batter at least 2 cm away from the sides (see Fig. 1).
7.
Close the cover.
8.
Wait about 2‐3 minutes until the waffle is dry and evenly baked.
Take care: when preparing a recipe for the first time, it may be necessary to experiment with
the temperature control knob. When the temperature is set higher, the waffles will turn
browner. After the first waffle you can set the temperature higher or lower to achieve the
desired browning of the waffle. The exact baking time will depend on your taste and the type
of batter and ingredients used.
9.
Open the cover.
10. Remove the waffle from the baking plate with a heat resistant nylon or wooden utensil.
Take care: never use any metal utensils on the baking plates as they can damage the
non‐stick coating.
Making waffle cones
1.
Follow up the instructions 1 t/m 9 in 'Making waffles'.
2.
Leave the waffle on the baking plate and place the accessory for waffle cones on the waffle
like in Fig. 2. Roll the waffle around the cone accessory.
Take care: the waffle and the baking plates are hot! Use a heat resistant nylon or wooden
utensil or use oven gloves.
