THE PRODUCT

THE USE
Take care: avoid touching the baking plates during use, they become very hot!
Before use:
1. Remove all packaging materials.
2. Check the device for possible damage. Do not use the device in case the power cord or plug is
damaged.
3. Clean the device, if necessary, with a wet cloth and some detergent (also see the paragraph
"maintenance and cleaning").
4. Preheat the device, without batter, thoroughly before first use. Close the lid and put the plug
in the plug‐socket. Turn the temperature control knob to the highest level (MAX). The red
indicator light will light up to indicate that the device has been switched on. Let the device
preheat for about 10 minutes. Then turn the temperature control knob to the lowest level
(MIN) and unplug the device. Open the lid and let the device cool down completely. Clean the
baking plates with a paper towel or a soft towel as soon as they have cooled down.
Take care: when using the device for the first time, some smoke may come from the baking
plates. This is normal.
