Heating time
Coffee machines used with non-insulated containers
(e.g. glass jugs) must be switched off within 40 minutes
of completing the brewing process in accordance with
Regulation (EU) No. 801/2013.
Your Cloer filter coffee machine therefore has an opera-
ting time (coffee brewing + heating time) of 40 minutes
in total, i.e. the heating plate stays on for approx. 30-35
minutes after brewing, depending on the amount of
coffee used. When the heating cycle is over, the on/off
switch indicator light turns off.
Please be aware that the on/off switch will not return
to the OFF position. Be sure to always reset the switch
to the OFF position when the heating period is over or
when you no longer need the appliance.

you can place the filter lid on the glass carafe.
Decalcification
It is advisable to decalcify to the coffee machine when
using calcareous water (depending on the degree of
hardness of the water, between 3-4 weeks). A regular
decalcification will assure constant quality, low electrical
consumption and a longer life of the machine. Use for this
a normal liquid descaler and read the safety instructions.
For the decalcification with citric acid or vinegar,
take into consideration:
75ml citric acid or vinegar and turn the appliance on.
clear water twice in order to rinse the appliance.
