Changing the Sewing Direction

1. Stop the sewing machine at the point where you want to change the sewing direction
and such that the needle is positioned in the fabric.
2. Raise the presser foot and turn the fabric to face the new direction, using the needle
as the fulcrum.
3. Lower the presser foot and continue sewing in the new direction.

Storage

• Push the thread spool pin into the device.
• Place a piece of fabric under the presser foot and then lower it.
• Disconnect the mains adapter from the mains and then from the device. Pull the plug
for the foot control out of the device.
• If you do not intend to use the sewing machine for a lengthy period of time, take the
batteries out.
• Store the device and accessories in the original packaging and keep it out of the
reach of children and animals in a dry place at temperatures of between 0 and 40°C.

Spooling and changing the needle

Spooling
You can wind any thread you want onto the bobbins which are supplied with the mini
sewing machine.
PLEASE NOTE!
■ If there is a bobbin in the bobbin compartment, remove it before you start spooling!
Ensure that no upper thread is threaded either because the needle moves back and
forth during spooling.
1. Remove the thread spool pin from the device as far as the limit stop and place a spool
of thread onto it.
2. Take a bobbin and feed the thread from the inside to the outside through one of the
small holes and let it project out for approx. 10 cm.

1. Stop the sewing machine.
2. Turn the hand wheel to bring the needle up to its highest
position.
3. Raise the presser foot and carefully pull the fabric out to
the left.
4. Cut through both threads approx. 15 cm from the fabric
so that enough thread is left over to secure the seam by
hand.
5. To prepare the sewing machine for the next seam, pull
approx. 15 cm of thread out backwards.
