register the activboard
to the activhub
It is recommended to read all of this section to
become familiar with the steps before starting
the registration.
1. a) Click on the ActivManager icon and select
Register Wireless ActivBoard.
e Activboard shows graphical instructions,
described below:
b) Hold the pen over the fl ame logo, then
press and hold the barrel button.
Go to step 2 only if the fl ame logo fl ashes
white to show the ActivBoard is in
'Registration' mode.
2. e Registration mode displays three
registration targets in diff erent positions.
positions may be left, middle or right and at
the top or bottom. Examples are shown.
Click with the pen in the position of the
target 1.
e fl ame logo at the corner of the board
changes colour to magenta to indicate that
the click has been accepted. If the colour does
not change when you click on the target, try
and click again in the same position until the
logo colour becomes magenta.
Click with the pen in the position of the
target 2
e fl ame logo changes colour to white when
the click is accepted.
Click with the pen on target 3.
When the third click is accepted and the
fl ame logo changes colour to yellow, the
registration is successfully completed.
Picture A is displayed, showing the
connection with the ActivHub.
If Picture B is displayed, registration has failed.
If this happens, go back to step 1a) Register
Wireless ActivBoard.
