 Always watch the unit while it is being used.
 Bread may burn; bread toasters must not be used in the
proximity of, or under curtains or other flammable
materials.
 The metal parts get hot. Danger of burns!
 Do not insert forks, knives or other objects in the
toasting slot.
 Do not set up the unit next to infl ammable objects (e.g.
curtains, wood, etc.)
OPERATION
1. Only connect the unit to a properly installed and earthed power socket (230 V, 50 Hz).
2. To set the browning level, turn the selector clockwise to the preferred level starting from the lightest -
level 1 - to the darkest - level 6. If you are not sure, start with a lower setting.
(The mark on the selector switch shows you the setting.).
3. Insert the slices of bread in the toasting slot and lower the slide with the lever until it snaps into place.
4. The appliance starts the toasting. When the set level of browning is reached, the appliance switches off
automatically.
The slide pops up automatically.
5. The appliance has a heat-insulated "cool-touch" housing . The metal parts become hot during use. Leave
the toaster to cool before putting it away.
1. Carriage lever.
Push down to start working.
2. Browning control knob. Bigger number for
darker browning.
3. Stop button. Push to cancel heating.
4. Defrost button.
5. Crumb tray.
