7. Slide grille housing into opening. Test fit grille housing and
remove knockout sections on housing to fit around electrical
wiring (Fig. 7).

7. Glisser le boîtier de la grille dans l`ouverture. Vérifier l`ajustage
du boîtier de la grille et enlever les pièces étampées du boîtier
afin de l`adapter au câblage électrique (Fig. 7).
The fan speed control turns the fan on to high speed and dials
down to low speed.
Do not turn on the fan when starting a fire in a fireplace or wood
stove until the damper is thoroughly warm and fully open. Turning
the fan on too soon may draw smoke and flue gases into the room.
Wait until the fire is well established.
DISCONNECT ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY BEFORE
SERVICING FAN.

8. Fasten housing halves together with long sleeve screws and
sleeve fasteners. Tie sleeves together with two black sheet
metal screws provided in plastic parts bag (Fig. 8).
Install grilles with centre knob and threaded stud provided.
Long grille screws are used on grille housing. Push on speed
control knob. Plug in motor, turn on power and check operation
of fan.

8. Réunir les deux moitiés du boîtier avec les vis longues à
manchon et les fixations à manchon. Fixer les manchons
ensemble (Fig. 8).
Installer les grilles avec les vis à grille prévues à cet effet.
Employer les vis longues pour le boîtier de la grille. Appuyer
sur le bouton de commande de vitesse. Enficher le moteur
alimenter et vérifier le fonctionnement du ventilateur.
Always unplug the fan motor before servicing the fan. The motor
bearings on this fan are lifetime lubricated and will never need
oiling.
Clean the fan blade and motor every six months by removing the
grille, unplugging the motor, and gently vacuuming the fan blade
and motor.
Clean the grille in warm, soapy water. Use a mild detergent, such
as a dishwashing liquid. DO NOT USE ABRASIVE CLOTHS,
STEEL WOOL OR SCOURING POWDERS.
Toujours déconnector le moteur du ventilateur avant de procéder
à son entretien. Les roulements du moteur sont lubrifiés à vie et
n`ont donc jamais besoin du huile.
Tous les six mois, nettoyer les pales du ventilateur et le moteur:
enlever la grille, déconnecter le moteur et passer les pales et le
moteur à l`aspierateur.
Nettoyer la grille avec de l`eau savonneuse tiède. Employer un
détergent doux - type liquide pour vaissele. NE PAS EMPLOYER
DE TISSU ABRASIF, DE TAMPONS DE LAINE D`ACIER OU DE
POUDRES DÉCAPANTES.
