Using the coffee maker
WARNING!

Only use the appliance when the vehicle is stationary, not during
journeys.
NOTICE!
A
If any liquid leaks out, clear it up immediately. Damage to the elec-
tronics may be caused by moisture entering the appliance.
Before initial use
➤ To clean the coffee maker, allow one to two lots of clear, cold water to boil
and flow through without the filter or coffee.
Do not fill the water tank above the maximum fill line.
➤ Pour the water away.
➤ Rinse the water tank, filter holder and pot with hot water.
Brewing coffee
NOTE

The brewing time for eight cups is approx. 15–20 minutes (supply
voltage 26 V).

Never fill the appliance with water whilst it is hot. Turn the appli-
ance off and leave it to cool down for approx. 10 mins.
Never use hot water. Never put milk, ready-made coffee, tea
etc. in the water tank.
This could seriously damage the coffee maker.
➤ Remove the water tank.
➤ Fill the water tank with clear, cold water (fig. 5 A, page 3).
Do not fill the water tank above the maximum fill line.
One mark corresponds to a small cup.
➤ Close the lid of the water tank.
➤ Position the water tank on the coffee maker.
➤ Pull out the filter compartment and put a paper filter (size 2) into the filter
(fig. 5 A, page 3).
