6.9 Insulation of wall openings
Necessary wall openings should be provided on site. It is essen-
tial that the interior side of the wall opening in lined with thermal
insulation to prevent the wall from becoming cold and to prevent
moisture from penetrating the wall. The transition between the
wall insulation and the wall-mounted junction box must be sealed
air-tight. Water which has penetrated due to adverse weather
conditions (e.g. driving rain) should be routed outside by means
of a gradient.

6.10 Air duct hose set for air-to-
water swimming pool heat
pumps (indoor installation)
Flexible hoses are offered as accessories for the air circuit for the
air-to-water swimming pool heat pumps 15MTI, 15TTI and
20TTI. The air duct hose set is suitable for use in rooms with low
temperatures and low humidity. It consists of a 5 m length of ther-
mally-insulated and sound-insulated air hose which can be used
for both the air intake and the air outlet side. Air intake and air
outlet can take place via a light well or a rain guard. Installation
material for connection to the swimming pool heat pump and for
the wall opening to be insulated on site is included.
Air hoses have the advantage that they can be individually
adapted on site and are able to simply and quickly compensate
for height and length differences. In addition, air hoses have both
a thermal and sound insulating effect and prevent the room in
which the system is installed from becoming cold. A grid on the
wall connection stubs prevents small animals from entering and
leaves from falling in.

ATTENTION!
The minimum air flow should be checked if there is a 90° air deflection on
either the air intake or the air outlet side.
