Charging a Battery (permanently installed in a vehicle)
1. Check the polarity of the battery and observe which pole is
connected to the chassis for grounding. Normally the minus pole
is earthed.
2. To charge a negative earthed battery, proceed as follows:
Connect the red quick clamp (5) to the plus pole of the battery
and the black quick clamp (6) to the vehicle chassis.
In some vehicles the battery is positive earthed. To charge such
a positive earthed battery, proceed as follows:
Connect the black quick clamp to the positive pole and the red
quick clamp to the vehicle chassis.
3. Insert the power plug of the battery charger into a socket.

The charger continues to trickle charge and
automatically starts increasing power when the
temperature drops.
Fully controlled by internal Micro-Computer-Unit
(MCU), which assure a faster, powerful, reliable
and smarter charging process.
When charger is plugged in:
- it detects the charge level of the battery and
- starts charging process.
To eliminate the possibility of sparks, the charger
will not start operation upon connection to the
battery,
unless
selected.
