Before first Use
 Remove the rice cooker from the packaging and check it for any damage in
transit. Never use a defective device. Also do not use the device if the acces-
sory is damaged (e. g. cracks or damages in the inner pot).
 Dispose of any non-reusable packaging material properly or store it in a safe
location out of reach of children.
 Clean the rice cooker before using the first time as described below in the
chapter "Cleaning and Storing".
Intended Use
The rice cooker is for cooking rice and rice dishes only. With the included steam
insert the device can be used for steaming vegetables.
Assembling and Using
1. Place the rice cooker (5) on a solid, level surface.
2. Measure the desired rice amount and fill in the inner pot. The measuring cup
(3) should be filled to the brim only. One filled measuring cup dry rice is equal
to approx. 1 portion of cooked rice. The max. capacity of the rice cooker is 10
measuring cups dry rice. This is equal to approx. 10 portions of cooked rice.
3. Fill the inner pot (2) with water or stock and, if desired add salt. Insert the inner
pot into the rice cooker. Place the lid on the rice cooker. Always use the rice
cooker with closed lid!
4. Connect the coupler plug with the rice cooker and the wall socket.
5. Press down the switch (8). The power control light "COOK" lights up. Now
cooking process has started.
6. As soon as cooking process has finished, the rice cooker will automatically
turn to warm keeping mode. The power control light "WARM" will light up.
7. Stir the cooked rice immediately after cooking in order to remove sticking rice
from the wall of the inner pot. By doing this, the rice will remain loose and does
not stick on the wall.
Hints: Allow the cooked rice to rest for approx. 10 minutes before serving. The
steam inside the pot will finish cooking process. Do to leave the cooked rice for
longer than 10 hours in the warm keeping mode. Consume the rice within this
period.
Only touch the rice cooker resp. the inner pot with over gloves or similar! Pull the
power plug if you do not use the rice cooker furthermore, when cleaning, when re-
positioning the device or if failures occur.
