Maintenance

• Do not expose the unit to extremes in temperature or high humidity.

Battery and Fuse Replacement
Before opening the case, remove the test leads from the circuit and shut off the unit.
Failure to observe this warning can result in severe injury or death.
The fuse and fuse jacket are integral parts of the overvoltage protection. When fuse
replacement is necessary, see Specifications for the correct type, size, and capacity.
Using any other type of fuse or omitting the jacket will void the overvoltage protection
rating of the unit.

1.
Disconnect the unit from the circuit.
2.
Remove the screws from the battery door.
3.
Remove the battery door.
4.
Replace the battery (observe polarity) and/or fuse with fuse jacket.
5.
Replace the door and screws.
Cleaning
Periodically wipe the case with a damp cloth and mild detergent; do not use abrasives or
solvents.
