INSTALLING THE SANDING BELT
3. Centre the Sanding Belt on the Drive Drum and Idler Drum.
4. Slide the Tension Lever to the left to tighten the belt tension.
5. Tighten the Hex Socket Screw when the Bed is in the desired working position.
6. Plug in the Belt Sander and turn the sander on and then off. If the Sanding Belt appears
to be sliding off either the Drum Drive or Idler Drive, the belt tacking needs to be
adjusted.
7. If the Sanding Belt moved toward the Sanding Pad when the machine was turned on,
turn the tracking Knob anti-clockwise a quarter turn and test again.
ON/OFF LOCKING SWITCH
1. The ON/OFF Locking Switch must have the Switch Key inserted before the ON/OFF
Locking Switch can be used. This feature prevents accidental use of the Sander.
2. Insert the Switch Key in to the ON/OFF Locking Switch.
3. To turn the sander ON, place your finger under the left side of the ON/OFF Locking
Switch and pull out.
4. To turn the sander OFF, push in the left side of the ON/OFF Locking Switch.
5. To lock the ON/OFF Locking Switch in its OFF position, push and hold the left side of the
Switch while pulling out the Switch Key.
Please Note: Always lock the switch in its OFF position when the Sander is not in use.
BENCH BELT SANDER
1. Move the Tension Lever to the right
to release the Sanding Belt tension.
2. Place the Sanding Belt over the Drive
Drum and Idler Drum, making sure
the inside direction arrow points
down towards the Drive Drum.
