5. Environmental directive, warranty provisions
& contact details
If, for whatever reason, you want to dispose of the igniter, observe the
following guidelines:
* Take the igniter to your local domestic appliance collection point. Your
municipal authority can tell you where these collection points are.
* This igniter is marked with the WEEE symbol under EU Directive 2002/96
on waste electrical and electronic equipment. This directive sets standards
for the collection and recycling of waste equipment that apply throughout
the territory of the European Union.
Do not dispose of devices and (rechargeable) batteries with
household waste, in a fire, or in a body of water after the end of the
service life. Rechargeable and other batteries must be collected,
processed, and recycled in an environmentally friendly manner. For
more information about this, please contact your local municipal
authority or the appropriate government agency.
