TROUBLESHOOTING
If you have a problem with your shredder, check the issues and resolutions below. If you cannot solve the problem,
contact our product support experts at 1-866-790-8026.
Do not open the shredder head to attempt to repair. It could expose you to electric shock and will
void your warranty.
Issue
Shredder will not turn on.
Shredder suddenly stops
while shredding.
Shredder shreds fewer
sheets than listed capacity.
Paper does not shred
completely / Unshredded
paper in waste bin.
Resolutions
a. Make sure the shredder is plugged in.
b. Make sure the main power switch is in the ON position.
c. Make sure the unit has not overheated. The LED will light Red "Overheat".
See the OVERHEATING section.
d. Make sure the bin is properly inserted. The LED will light Yellow
"Door Open". See the DOOR OPEN section.

c. Make sure the bin is properly inserted. The LED will light Yellow

d. Make sure the unit is not overloaded. See CLEARING A JAM section.
Cutting blades should be lubricated. See MAINTENANCE section.
Make sure sheet count does not exceed maximum limit. Shred a single
paper one at a time for 5-6 times to clear any unshredded bundles.
