I) CD RECORDING
MANUAL RECORDING
1) PRESS THE "CD I /AUX" FUNCTION BUTTON.
2) PLACE THE PRE-RECORDED MUSIC CD INSIDE THE CD I COMPARTMENT BUT DO NOT PRESS "PLAY".
3) SET THE "AUTO/MANUAL"
4) PRESS THE "REC
THE PLAY INDICATOR " " SHOWS ON THE LCD DISPLAY (2).
5) AFTER A FEW SECONDS, THE LCD (2) WILL SHOW THE TIME COUNTER - THE SYSTEM IS NOW STAR-
TING THE RECORDING PROCESS. NOW START PLAYBACK OF THE CD IN CD I.
6) AFTER RECORDING HAS FINISHED, PRESS THE " STOP
PLAYBACK OF CD I.
II) PROGRAMMED ENCODING
1) PRESS THE "CD I /AUX "FUNCTION (32) BUTTON.
2) PLACE THE RECORDED MUSIC CD INSIDE THE CD I COMPARTMENT BUT DO NOT PRESS "PLAY".
3) SELECT THE DESIRED TRACKS BY FOLLOWING " CD DISC PROGRAMMING " PROCEDURES.
4) REPEAT THE SAME PROCEDURE FROM STEP 2 TO 5 AS DESCRIBED IN PART A-I-i ABOVE (MANUAL
RECORDING) TO COMPLETE THE RECORDING.
II) VINYL RECORDING (FROM PHONO)
1) PRESS THE "PHONO" FUNCTION BUTTON (32).
2) PLACE THE RECORD TO BE RECORDED ON THE TURNTABLE AND GET READY FOR PLAYBACK AS DE-
SCRIBED PREVIOUSLY.
3) SET THE "AUTO/MANUAL" TS FUNCTION. (PLEASE REFER TO PART B-II)
4) PRESS "REC
" BUTTON (20) AND THEN THE CD "PLAY/PAUSE
PLAY INDICATOR " " SHOWS ON THE LCD DISPLAY (2).
5) AFTER A FEW SECONDS, THE LCD (2) WILL DISPLAY THE TIME COUNTER AND THE SYSTEM WILL
START THE RECORDING PROCESS. NOW START PLAYBACK OF THE VINYL RECORD.
6) WHEN FINISHED RECORDING, PRESS THE " STOP " BUTTON (30) AT CD II AND THEN STOP THE RE-
CORD PLAYING.
III) CASSETTE RECORDING (FROM TAPE)
1) PRESS THE "TAPE" FUNCTION BUTTON (32).
2) GET THE TAPE READY FOR PLAYBACK AS DESCRIBED PREVIOUSLY.
3) SET THE "AUTO/MANUAL " FUNCTION. (PLEASE REFER TO PART B-II)
4) PRESS "REC
" BUTTON (20) AND THEN THE CD "PLAY/PAUSE
PLAY INDICATOR " " SHOWS ON THE LCD DISPLAY (2).
5) AFTER A FEW SECONDS, THE LCD (2) WILL SHOW THE TIME COUNTER AND THE SYSTEM WILL START
THE RECORDING PROCESS. NOW START PLAYBACK OF THE CASSETTE TRACK(S) YOU WISH TO RECORD.
6) WHEN FINISHED RECORDING, PRESS THE "STOP " BUTTON (30) AT CD II AND THEN STOP THE CAS-
SETTE TAPE PLAYING.
IV) AUX-IN RECORDING
1) PRESS THE "CD I /AUX" FUNCTION (32) BUTTON.
2) CONNECT YOUR AUDIO DEVICE TO THE AUX-IN JACK (10) VIA A 3.5 MM CONNECTING CABLE (NOT
SUPPLIED).
3) REPEAT THE SAME PROCEDURE AS DESCRIBED IN STEPS 3 TO 5 OF PREVIOUS SECTIONS.
NOTES:
• THE RECORDING SPEED IS 1:1 AND ACCORDING TO THE ACTUAL PLAYING TIME OF THE PLAYING
SOURCE
• TO SUSPEND THE RECORDING PROCESS, PRESS THE " PLAY/PAUSE
BRIEFLY APPEARS ON THE LCD DISPLAY AND THE RECORDING WILL PAUSE. TO RESTART, PRESS THE
"PLAY/PAUSE
" BUTTON (29) AGAIN.
