Attention: The protection guard must be mounted if working with a grinding wheel or cutting disc. Use the correct type of
wheel/disc for each application.
Open the clamping lever.
Place the wheel guard into the groove on the spindle of the machine head and rotate to the required position.

Cutting
TIPS FOR PROPER OPERATION
• While working, always maintain a 15-30 degree angle between the disc and the workpiece. Larger angles can damage the angle grinder.
• When using a cutting disc never change the cutting angle otherwise you will stall the disc and the angle grinder motor or break the disc. When cutting, only
cut in the opposite direction to the disc's rotation.
• Diamond discs can be used for best results when cutting very hard materials.
• When using a diamond disc it may become very hot. If this happens you will see a full ring of sparks around the rotating disc. Stop cutting and allow the
diamond disc to cool for 2-3 minutes.
• Always ensure the workpiece is firmly held or clamped to prevent it from moving.
MAINTENANCE
• Do not attempt to repair any parts of the machine on your own.
• Never use water or chemical cleaners to clean the power tool. Wipe clean with a dry cloth.
• Always store the power tool in a dry place.
• Keep the motor ventilation slots clean.
• Keep the power tool free of dust.
• Occasionally you may see sparks going through the ventilation slots. This is normal and will not damage the power tool.
TROUBLESHOOTING
• If the grinding wheel wobbles or vibrates, ensure that the outer flange is tight, check that the wheel is correctly located on the flange plate.
• If there is any evidence that the wheel is damaged, do not use as the damaged wheel may break and damage the operator. Remove it and replace with a
new wheel.
• If working on aluminum or a similar soft alloy, the wheel will quickly become clogged and will not grind effectively.
ENVIRONMENTAL DISPOSAL
In order to avoid damages on transportation, the tool has to be delivered in solid packaging. Packaging as well as the unit and accessories are made of
recyclable materials and can be disposed accordingly. The tool's plastics components are marked according to their material, which makes it possible to remove
environmental friendly and differentiated because of available collection facilities.
Only for EU countries
Do not dispose of electric tools together with household waste material!
In observance of European Directive 2002/96/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its implementation in accordance with
national law, electric tools that have reached the end of their life must be collected separately and returned to an environmentally compatible
recycling facility.
