IV. GETTING STARTED
4.1- Unpacking
• Remove the product from packaging
• Check if the product and accessories (if any) are intact.
4.2- Assembly
WARNING!
Before any intervention on product, always disconnect it from the air supply.
Fitting the quick connector
• This tool is supplied with a male quick connector (8).
• Apply PTFE tape (not included) to the screw threads of the air inlet. This will help to
maintain an air tight seal.
• Using a spanner (not included) to fit the quick connector into the pressure regulator/gauge.
Fitting the paint container
• For model PRACPPS30, fit the paint container (2) by screwing it in to the opening on top of
the spray gun. Gently tighten with a suitable spanner (not included).
• For model PRACPPI31, fit the paint container (2) by screwing it to the fluid connector (3)
of the spray gun. Gently tighten with a suitable spanner (not included).
Paint preparation
• WARNING! Make sure the type of paint, solvent used and the viscosity is suitable for the
material and type of this spray gun.
• Mix, condition and filter the material to be sprayed according to the paint manufacturer's
recommendations.
• Refer to the paint manufacturer's guidelines for storing and disposal of prepared material.
Filling the paint container (2)
• Make sure the spray gun is disconnected from the air supply.
• Remove the paint container lid (1).
• Fill the paint container to the required level.
• Restore the paint container lid and tighten by hand.
Fluid flow adjustment
• The fluid flow can be adjusted by slowly turning the fluid flow control knob (4).
• To increase the flow, turn the knob counter-clockwise slowly.
• To decrease the flow, turn the knob clockwise slowly.
Spray pattern adjustment
• The spray pattern can be adjusted by slowly turning spray pattern adjustment knob (5).
• Turning the knob counter-clockwise increases the spread.
• Turning it clockwise leads to a narrower, more circular spray pattern.
• Loosen the air nozzle lock ring (12) and turn the air nozzle (11) to adjust the orientation of
the spray pattern. Tighten the lock ring to fix the air nozzle in place.
