Important Safety Information
Radio Frequency Warnings & Hazards
WARNING
!
• Can interfere with operation of nearby
pacemaker or implanted medical devices .
• Do not turn on TRITON without first con-
sulting your doctor and the manufacturer
of the pacemaker or medical device .
!
TRITON uses a radio frequency (RF) of 13.56 MHz and emits radio fre-
quency (RF) electromagnetic energy that could affect the operation of
nearby electronics.
Warning to people with
pacemakers or other
implanted medical devices:
• The RF used and emitted by TRITON can
interfere with the proper performance of
cardiac pacemakers and other implanted
devices .
• Do not turn on TRITON if you or nearby
people have a pacemaker or other
implanted medical device without first
consulting your doctor and the manufac-
turer of the pacemaker or medical device .
Blasting operations:
• The RF used by this equipment could
interfere with blasting operations, resulting
in the possibility of inadvertent explosion,
causing death, serious personal injury, or
property damage .
• Do not turn on this equipment near blast-
ing operations . Consult with personnel in
charge of blasting operations first and fol-
low all restrictions .
6
• Do not turn on near blasting operations,
or around gasoline, explosive liquids,
vapors, fumes, or gases .
• Keep children away .
• Turn off when not in use .
• Do not alter – keep all coverings and
housings in place .
• Can interfere with operation of communi-
cation equipment and other equipment .
Explosive liquids, vapors
or gases:
• Do not turn on TRITON around gasoline,
explosive liquids, vapors, fumes, gases, or
other materials that can ignite in the pres-
ence of electrical sparks .
Keep children away:
• This equipment is not intended for use by
or near children . It should not be used by
anyone under 18 years old .
Radio frequency exposure:
• TRITON generates, uses, and can radiate
RF energy .
• Do not alter - keep all coverings in place .
The exterior case (housing) of the Control
Unit helps reduce RF emissions . Do
not use this equipment if the housing is
cracked, broken, or damaged .
