Freezing tips
Water meters contain minimum residues of test water which can freeze
during transport in frosty weather.
If our advices are respected, the water meter will not get damaged nor
will its measuring properties be affected.
In case water meters reach you in a period of frosty weather, they are to
be slowly defrosted in a frost free place.
In case of meters for cold water, it has be taken care not to warm
the meter to more than 40 °C, as otherwise the internal parts will get
damaged.
If the water meter will be installed during frosty weather, it should
be checked by slightly blowing into meter´s inlet that it functioning
well (movement of starting star). Please observe this information for
your own sake!
Close and drain pipes including those water pipes that are not used
permanently. Protect all other pipes, and water meters in particular,
against cold air. Close and drain construction water connections and
exposed connections and have construction meters removed.

Environmental note
The device must not be disposed together with the domestic waste.
Return it to the manufacturer for recycling.
