USE
1. Before using the tool, make sure that the side inner lining of the windscreen, the cowl and the
rear view mirror have been removed.
2. Insert the one end of the cutting wire through the shaft hole of the winding device (3) and knot it.
Wind the cutting wire onto the shaft by a few rotations.
3. Secure the winding device (3) on the inside of the windscreen.
4. Press the cutting wire (4) with the stitch awl (9) through the windscreen glue, from the inside of
the windscreen to the outside.
5. Place the cutting wire (4) on the side once completely around the windscreen and secure the
other end of the cutting wire (4) to the cutting wire holder (1) by securing the cutting wire under
the fastening hand wheel with a knot.
6. To remove the windscreen, turn the shaft of the winding device (3) with the reversing ratchet (6)
and the socket spanner (7). In doing so, hold the protective plate (8) between the cutting wire
and the trim parts. This ensures that trim parts are not damaged by the cutting wire.
7. If the pulling angle of the cutting wire becomes unfavourable, the winding device must be moved
to another position on the inside of the windscreen. The deflection device must also be used.
