Please always follow these instructions for use. In case of adverse effects (e.g. skin swelling,
pressure points, disorders of blood circulation, etc.) please tell your doctor. Function and optimum
protection are no longer guaranteed if the product is handled incorrectly. This device assists recov-
ery and should be used exclusively under the instruction of and in consultation with your doctor
or a healthcare professional. DARCO (Europe) GmbH does not assume any responsibility. Do not
wear the product in direct contact with injured, irritated, damaged or broken skin. This device is not
recommended for direct skin contact. You should use bandages, for example.
We recommend that you do not drive a vehicle while you are wearing this device. Immobilising the
shoulder may negatively affect the balance. Walk extremely carefully to avoid falling.
This device is intended for single-patient use only.

> Shoulder dislocation, scapula and socket fractures
> Injury to the humeral head and proximal humerus
> Soft tissue injuries
> Humerus shaft fractures
> Post-traumatic / post-operative immobilization

Design features

The MECRON Shoulder Orthosis is for fixing the shoulder and immobilising the arm. The orthosis
consists of the following individual parts: Thorax belt, cuff for the forearm and for the wrist. This
ensures secure shoulder and arm positioning, as prescribed by the doctor. The flexible fasteners
allow customised fitting to the patient's anatomical situation.
Maintenance
The product does not require maintenance.
