General safety hints: For safety as well as energy saving reasons mains battery chargers (like e.

batteries cannot strongly be excluded. All LEDs are turned off (cf. also Kap.8) in such a case. There is an internal defect, a faulty attached
component or excess temperature at LEDs switched off despite charged batteries or device attached on the input or output. In this case
immediately remove all attached devices as well as the internal batteries! These measures are also valid if the batteries or other parts of the device
or external components are so hot that they cannot be grasped any more (approx. 70°C) or if you establish fire or smokes. Don't touch the
battery contacts as well as the inputs and outputs with metallic objects since short circuits can arise so!

Clean battery contacts regularly, if necessary with cleaning liquid or contact spray.
Clean hinge contacts at visible pollutions, e.g. after use in dusty surroundings.
