replaced immediately by an authorised Vortice
Service Centre.
Installation
- This appliance must be installed by a professionally
qualified technician and wall mounted using rawl
plugs and bolts.
- This dryer must be installed out of reach of persons
using the bath, the shower, or the washbasin and in
accordance with all laws and standards governing
installation in the country where the appliance is
being installed.
- The appliance should not be installed less than 150
cm off the ground.

Operation
EASY DRY DUAL 1300
The appliance is manually activated by a button on
the front cover (fig.35). Operating times ranging from
5 to 30 seconds can be pre-set (by the installer) by
means of a trimmer on the internal circuit board
(fig.36).
EASY DRY DUAL 1300 A
The appliance is automatically activated thanks to an
integrated infra-red sensor (fig.37) that turns the dryer
on when it detects hands; Activation ranges from 0 to
35 cm can be pre-set (by the installer) by means of a
trimmer on the internal circuit board (fig.38). A special
anti-vandal device automatically cuts off the hot air
supply after about 20 mins of uninterrupted use when
an obstacle has been placed in front of the sensor.
The dryer can be restarted a few seconds after the
obstacle has been removed.
VORT DRY 1000 JET
The appliance starts working automatically once the
nozzle is removed from its holder (fig.39) and
switches itself off when the nozzle is replaced (fig.40).
The dryer also switches itself off after about 20
minutes of uninterrupted use.

Maintenance/Cleaning
This appliance does not normally require any special
maintenance. As and when necessary, simply wipe off
dust with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, use a cloth dam-
pened with luke-warm water and a neutral, non-abra-
sive detergent to remove more stubborn dirt. Check that
the air intake is not blocked by hair or fluff. The applian-
ces have internal washable filters (fig.42) that prevent the
accumulation of dirt around the electrical components.
