enerAl notes on sAfety
This operation manual is applicable for the machine UMC
6-RL. The machine may only be handled by personnel
who are qualified.
Hold power tools by insulated gripping surfaces when
performing an operation where the cutting tool may con-
tact hidden wiring or its own cord. Contact with a «live»
wire will make exposed metal parts of the tool «live» and
shock the operator.
WARNING Read all safety warnings and all in-
structions. Failure to follow the warnings and in-
structions may result in electric shock, fire and/or
serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future refer-
ence.

which it is intended
The machine is designed for filing, polishing,
and lapping work with files, polishing wheels,
and other attachments within the given spe-
cifications. It can work any material that does
not pose a hazard to health or the power tool.

All uses other than those described under section
1.2 are regarded as incorrect use and are there-
fore not admissible.

Before connecting tool to a power
source, be sure the voltage sup-
plied is the same as specified on
the name plate of the tool. The power sup-
ply should not vary more than 10% above or below the
voltage indicated on the nameplate. Check the tool before
use. Under no circumstances must the tool exceed the

The switch must be at the OFF position, i.e. the «0» is
visible. To switch ON the tool, press the switch, and push
it forwards until it engages audibly, i.e. the «1» becomes
bisible. Press the ON/OFF swith to trigger the blocking
and the machine shuts down.
