ATTENTION
To meet the IFA W3 certification requirements, you
must install an additional 24 VDC strobe light to
emphasize the alarm status of the FilterControl
panel. It must perform 65 +/- 10 flashes per minute
at a light intensity of 700-1000 cd, in accordance
with standard EN 842:1996+A1:2008.

Parameter setting
In case of PRECO-N (precoat) on CART-D or CART-C filter
cartridges, you must make a jumper setting on the terminal
block to postpone the initial activation of the cleaning system

4.6.2
Fan
To start the fan, the start/stop device receives a 24 VDC signal
from the PLC.
A start/stop device is not included in the scope of
supply. To reduce peak loads on the mains, we
recommend the installation of a star-delta switch, a
frequency inverter or an equivalent to start the fan.
The fan starter must be able to receive a 0-24 VDC
signal from the PLC.
ATTENTION
In case of connection voltage 400V/3ph/50Hz:
The use of a frequency inverter makes the 60 Hz fan
suitable to run on a 50 Hz power grid.
Setting of frequency inverter:
- input voltage: 400V
- output voltage: 230V
- frequency: max. 60Hz

• Disassemble the front panel (A) of the fan housing.
• Connect the fan to the mains in accordance with the
separately supplied electrical diagram, the wiring diagram
on the motor connection block and the identification plate.
• Connect the PTC cable in accordance with the separately
supplied electrical diagram.
• Push the
START/STOP FAN
fan.
• Make sure that the direction of rotation of the motor is
correct (clockwise). An arrow (B) on the motor shows the
correct direction of rotation.
• Push the
START/STOP FAN
• If necessary: change the connection of the phases.
• Install the front panel.
