Remove taillights – All models, Open tailgate. Remove the plastic cover near taillight by removing (1) plastic fastener with a flat screw driver, both sides. Using a 10mm s ocket,
remove (2) hex nuts holding taillight, both s ides. See Figure 2.
2018 – current models, Remove i nterior panel from each side of cargo a rea to gain access behind taillights a nd remove (1) bolt located behind interi or panel. Gently pull the taillights
rea rward, disconnect the wiring from taillights and set aside.

Remove underbody panel - Us i ng a n 8mm and 10mm deep s ocket, remove screws a nd hex nuts (varies by model year) from underbody panel a nd s et aside. See Figure 9.

Remove fascia:
a.) Us i ng an 8mm s ocket remove (1) screw holding fascia below taillight area. See Figure 3. (Steps a re typical both s ides)
b.) Us i ng a plastic tri m panel tool remove the reflector from fascia. Behind reflector, remove (1) screw using a n 8mm socket.
c.) Us i ng an 8mm s ocket remove (2) or (3) screws along bottom outer edge of fascia a nd (1) s crew from inside wheel well near the bottom.
d.) Us i ng a 10mm s ocket remove (1) plastic hex nut from wheel well liner.
e.) Us i ng a 1/8" drill bit, drill out the center of (4) rearmost plastic ri vets holding the wheel well tri m. Using a tri m panel tool remove remaining ri vet heads.
f.) Us i ng a trim panel tool gently remove the l ower part of the wheel well trim to expose (2) screws holding fascia. See Figure 4.
g.) Us i ng a n 8mm socket remove (2) s crews from behind wheel well trim.
h.) Us i ng a tri m panel tool, remove the fascia s tarting a t the outer edges near wheel wells while gently pulling the fascia.
i.) Di s connect the wiring harness from fascia and set fascia aside.
6.
2011 – 2017 models only:
Remove plastic fascia supports - Us i ng a 10mm deep well socket, remove (4) hex nuts from the (2) plastic fascia supports, (1) per side. See Figure 5.
