Insulation DHW1000R2
Assembly sequence for CFC-free fleece insulation with a foil jacket and zip fastener:
1. Carefully place the first half of the insulation around the buffer tank without using excessive force.
2. Place the second half of the insulation around the buffer tank. At first, only join up the two halves of
the insulation on one side. This is achieved zipping from top to down.
3. Fitting the fleece insulation cover to the top of the tank (ensure correct fit).
4. Now carefully attach the two halves of the insulation to the tank without using excessive force and join
with the second zip fastener.
Caution: If the insulation does not initially fully fit round the tank, do not force it together as this may damage the material! If necessary, a better
fit can be achieved by carefully patting the thermal insulation with flat of the hand.
5. Fit the cover.
6. Fitting the required rosettes.
Note: Do not assemble the insulation at a room temperature below 10°C
Commissioning
Before commissioning, check whether the water supply is open and the storage tank is full. Initial filling and commissioning must be carried out
by a certified specialist company!
The entire system, including parts assembled in the manufacturer's factory, must be tested to ensure that it is watertight and operational. The
safety valve must be checked regularly to ensure that it functions safely. We recommend that you have the system serviced annually by a specia-
lized company.
The storage tank must be cleaned and checked annually.
Anode
In accordance with DIN 4753, the magnesium anode must be tested by the customer service department after 2 years for the first time (after that
annually) and replaced if necessary.
Electrical heating element
Electrical heating elements may only be connected by certified electrical installers in accordance with the corresponding switching diagram. The
country-specific regulations in effect must be observed.
The electrical heater (if applicable) must be cleared of limescale annually, or more frequently according to
the hardness of the water. The system must also be tested for functionality at the same time.
Warranty conditions
The manufacturer guarantees the storage tank enameling and rust-proofness for 5 years from the date of manufacturing, provided the protective
magnesium anode has been tested regularly. All spare parts are guaranteed for 2 years.
