Special Safety Requirements
Always secure the workpiece with clamps or
similar. Never hold the item in place by hand.
Always use the correct type of disc for the job
at hand.
Never use discs whose maximum speed is
less than the tool's maximum RPM.
Never use discs which are too big.
Never use damaged or worn discs, or discs
that cannot be easily � tted to the angle
grinder spindle. Never use an adapter ring
or similar to � t discs with holes that are too
large.
Never allow the disc to be in contact with the
workpiece or other objects when starting the
angle grinder.
Never place your hand or � ngers near the

disc while the grinder is running.
Keep the handle and the grinder as a whole
free of oil, grease, water and other liquids.
Never depress the spindle lock while the disc
is rotating!
Never put the grinder down until the disc has
completely stopped rotating.
Do not touch the worked item or metal
� lings until they have cooled.
Do not use the angle grinder on items made
of magnesium.
