Danger of scalding from hot steam! Allow the device to cool down before the water
reservoir is topped up again.
Make sure when doing vertical ironing / steam blast that there is plenty of space
around the item of clothing which is to be ironed. You may only perform vertical iron-

other garments, objects, people or animals.
The connected mains cable must not present a trip hazard. Do not leave the mains
cable unattended while hanging down from the ironing board, table or other surface if
there are children or animals in its vicinity. Otherwise they might use the cable to pull
the device down on themselves.
Danger of Electric Shock
The device should only be connected to a properly installed plug socket with safety
contacts. The plug socket must also be readily accessible after connection so that

of the water while it is still connected to the mains power! Have the device checked in
a specialist workshop before using it again.
Never touch the device, mains cable or mains plug with wet hands when these com-
ponents are connected to the mains power.

nents (such as inside ovens, fridges, at switches and lights, microwave ovens).
Switch off the device and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket
– if a fault occurs during operation,
– before it is cleaned or
– before a thunderstorm.
Use the device only in closed rooms.
